Cameron Iveson joins LCA

We’re delighted to welcome Cameron Iveson as LCA’s new Public Affairs Lead — bringing a wealth of Westminster experience to help our clients navigate the fast-changing political landscape.

Cameron joined LCA’s Insight Team in July 2025 with nearly eight years of hands-on political experience in Parliament and beyond. Most recently, he served as Chief of Staff to Rachel Hopkins MP, supporting her frontbench work in opposition and Government. He previously worked as Legislative Adviser to Baroness Smith of Basildon (now Cabinet Minister and Leader of the House of Lords) and was seconded to the Labour Party HQ’s for the successful 2024 General Election, contributing to political messaging at the heart of the national campaign.

Cameron’s deep understanding of – and passion for – Westminster and party politics enhances LCA’s strategic insight and political counsel. He will advise clients on the political landscape, scan the horizon for future developments that matter to clients, and shape engagement strategies to help them achieve maximum influence and impact.
