Jonny Popper

Partner & Chief Executive

Jonny Popper LCA Headshot

Jonny is a partner, and the co-founder of LCA, with deep expertise in regeneration, development, and planning-led projects in London, as well as health service transformation. As Chief Executive, Jonny leads LCA’s day-to-day operations while remaining actively and enthusiastically involved with clients: a hands-on approach that defines LCA’s senior team.

A significant figure in London’s built environment community, Jonny was a past Chair of the NLA’s Expert Panel for Planning and has had a hand in working on the transformations of the Greenwich Peninsula, Wembley Park, Nine Elms, Brent Cross, Old Oak, Earl’s Court, Tottenham and many others.

Jonny started his career in the NHS, on the NHS Management Training Scheme, before working for Harriet Harman MP and then Nick Brown MP. He then moved to Neil Stewart Associates, where he was Director of Consultancy, Sponsorship, and New Business; later co-founding LCA with Robert Gordon Clark in 1999.

Jonny’s talents extend beyond the boardroom: a skilled juggler and unicyclist, he co-authored Club Passing – A Juggler’s Guide to Social Interaction, a skill set that may explain his aversion to ties and suits. He’s found some success on the poker tables of London and Las Vegas. And his family has even been immortalised in the TV comedy Friday Night Dinner, written by his brother, Robert Popper.
